Huntlee Academy’s mission is to provide employment, news skills and future career opportunities for local disadvantaged people.
Our target group includes:
- Unemployed youth (15-25 years old)
- Indigenous Australians
- People registered with disability services
- Mature aged workers.
Candidates are sourced from the Cessnock, Maitland and Singleton areas.
To achieve our mission we provide on-the-job training in our business units which operate like small businesses providing commercially competitive services. This gives training, real-life experience and upskilling opportunities to our employees.
